Music can seem both real and unreal, and its ability to render certain scenarios and situations depends in part on what means are used. One way to add to a sense of "reality" is to use actual recordings of atmospheres-- field recordings. This album, "Nocturne", is a combination of field recordings, phonographic collages, and sample work, created primarily to evoke places and times important to the composer. . .

Featured are guest artists Royce Lee and CSYSTEM, and drummer Jerry on STUDIO-RECORDED track "Weird Love".
